An exciting opportunity to cover a period of adoption leave within the Management Accounts function has arisen. Successful candidates will support the Senior Business & Value Partner, lead in providing accurate & timely financial information for presentation at meetings and to feed into the Trust's position for internal and external reporting.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, resilient and strive for the very best for our Trust and the population we serve. Candidates must have an understanding of the complexities of NHS finances. Strong IT skills, competent in the use of Microsoft Office, great communication skills and a passion to make a difference are essential.

You will be able to offer robust and pro‑active advice to non‑finance managers. You will be enthusiastic about leading a team to deliver outputs to a high standard within tight deadlines.

This role will involve remote working/hybrid working; however, there will be a requirement to work from the office on certain days. Taking on this role sitting within the Management Accounts team, you will be responsible for:

  • Working with the Senior Finance Business Partners, the post holder will develop and produce information to support accurate and timely monthly performance reports for presentation at service meetings and to feed into the Trust's position for internal and external corporate reporting.

You Will:

  • Be a qualified accountant with a proven track record of working collaboratively with senior, multi‑disciplinary individuals on both an internal and external basis.
  • Have the ability to analyse and interpret highly complex and highly sensitive data and communicate complex financial analysis and interpretation to non‑finance colleagues.
  • Have competency to negotiate and influence staff and overcome barriers to accepting the analysis provided.
  • To gather, produce, interpret and report upon highly complex and sensitive financial and activity information.
