We are looking for a passionate and guest-focused Safety & Security Coordinator to join our incredible Security team at Pan Pacific London. The Safety & Security Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of all guests, staff, and property within the hotel. This role involves implementing and maintaining safety policies, conducting risk assessments, coordinating daily security operations, emergency procedures, and ensuring compliance with local safety regulations. Your tasks as a Safety & Security Coordinator will include but not be limited to:

  • Security Operations: Monitor and manage the hotel's security systems including CCTV, access control, fire alarms, and emergency response protocols. Conduct regular patrols of hotel premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or hazards. Ensure proper staffing and training of security personnel. Maintain incident and investigation reports and coordinate with law enforcement when necessary.
  • Guest & Staff Safety: Develop and implement health and safety programs in compliance with legal regulations and company policies. Conduct regular fire drills, safety training, and emergency evacuation exercises. Investigate accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions and recommend corrective actions. Liaise with department heads to ensure team members follow proper safety procedures.
  • Crisis Management: Serve as a point of contact during emergencies (e.g., fire, natural disasters, medical emergencies). Coordinate emergency response and evacuation procedures. Ensure emergency equipment (fire extinguishers, AEDs, etc.) are maintained and operational.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure hotel operations adhere to local safety and security laws. Prepare detailed reports on safety performance, incidents, and corrective actions taken. Work with the People & Culture and other departments to ensure proper documentation and follow-up.
