We are looking for a highly motivated Influencer Campaign Manager on a 13-month fixed-term contract to provide parental-leave cover. This is an exciting opportunity to manage Pan Macmillan’s influencer marketing campaigns, explore and widen our influencer network into new communities, and deliver our affiliate strategy for our fast-growing TikTok Shop.
Your team: The Digital Communications team is a collaborative and forward-thinking group that prioritises the reader across email, web content, social media, and video. The team works across all Pan Macmillan imprints, ranging from children’s books to adult fiction and non-fiction. You will specifically sit within the Video & Communities team, a friendly and creative group of four that runs the Book Break influencer network, our YouTube and TikTok channels, and our TikTok Shop. We support Pan Macmillan’s innovation strategy by delivering award-winning campaigns, launching new platforms, and using a data-led approach in everything we do.
Your role: Reporting to the Head of Video and Metadata, the Influencer Campaign Manager position is essential to our digital strategy. You will work with colleagues to develop best-in-class influencer marketing campaigns, source influencers, and oversee all our influencer activity, while experimenting with innovative events and campaigns. You will manage our powerful influencer network, Book Break, including our monthly newsletter and proof distribution, as well as our TikTok Shop creator community. You will work to grow our community into new and exciting areas and support in the delivery of the TikTok Shop Affiliates strategy. You will also provide detailed knowledge and community insights to the rest of the business, impacting key strategies and providing campaign analytics to help meet business objectives. You will also play a key role in supporting the content strategy for the team across our TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube channels.
Your key responsibilities:
- Develop influencer campaigns: Work with communications colleagues to develop ideas, sourcing influencers and delivering a variety of campaigns, functioning as an in-house influencer marketing agency across the business.
- Grow and maintain networks: Maintain our influencer community, overseeing regular communication e.g. newsletters, and understanding their needs and concerns, sharing insight with the business.
- Drive TikTok Shop strategy: Support the delivery of the TikTok Shop Affiliates strategy and manage our creator community on the platform.
- Innovate and experiment: Deliver new and creative events and campaigns to support our books and develop relationships with creators from all backgrounds.
- Deliver community insights: Act as the expert in influencer marketing by providing detailed knowledge, campaign analytics, and trend reports to help shape broader business strategies.
- Support content strategy: Contribute to the overarching content strategy for the team across our TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube channels.
Essential experience, abilities, knowledge and values you’ll need to succeed:
- Influencer marketing expertise: Comprehensive experience of influencer marketing including strategy, process, campaign management, and reporting.
- Platform knowledge: Expert understanding of the YouTube and TikTok ecosystems, including deep familiarity with online video communities and analytics.
- Content judgement: Excellent judgement of creator storytelling and quality, with the ability to match the right influencers to specific book campaigns.
- Book community insight: A demonstrable understanding of book influencer communities (e.g., BookTok, BookTube, Bookstagram), fandoms, and popular genres.
- Strategic metrics: An understanding of high-level performance metrics and how to translate them into commercial value.
- Software and tools: Experience working with influencer databases and management platforms and project management tools such as Klear, Trello, and Asana.
- Inclusion and representation: An active dedication to promoting diverse voices and inclusive practices, taking personal responsibility for ensuring our workplace and publishing reflect the communities we serve.

- Regulatory knowledge: A solid understanding of GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and ASA (Advertising Standards Authority) guidelines as they relate to influencer marketing and data.

This is a full time, 13-month fixed term role and will be based in our offices in Farringdon, London, with some flexibility to work from home each week.
