Domiciliary Care Worker (Driver)
Start Date: Immediate starts available.
Mileage: 60p per mile (tax-free travel allowance).
Working days & hours:
- Tuesday & Thursdays: 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm (2 hours)
- Saturdays: 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm (2 hours)
About the Role
We are urgently recruiting Home Care Assistants to start immediately supporting vulnerable adults in their own homes across Cheshunt and surrounding Hertfordshire areas. This is a community-based role, where you will travel between clients providing essential care and support that helps people live independently, safely, and with dignity. Full training is provided, so previous experience is desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel between clients’ homes across Cheshunt and nearby areas
- Provide personal care (washing, dressing, toileting where required)
- Support with medication prompts (training provided)
- Assist with meals, hydration, and daily living tasks
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Follow individual care plans and safeguarding procedures
- Complete accurate daily care records
Driving Requirement
- A full UK driving licence is essential
- Access to your own vehicle is required
- Ability to travel between community care visits
- Mileage paid at 60p per mile (tax-free) for all care-related travel
Requirements
