We are currently seeking an experienced Occupational Health Physician to join our team, based on-site with a key client in Aberdeen.

This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who is passionate about occupational health and wants to play a key role in supporting employee wellbeing within the Oil & Energy sector. About the Role

As an Occupational Health Physician, you will deliver a comprehensive range of occupational health services, providing expert clinical advice to both employees and management teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting Management Referrals and producing high-quality, evidence-based reports.

Delivering Fitness for Work Assessments and Medicals.

Undertaking Health Surveillance Assessments and advising on fitness to continue working in role.

Assessing and advising on Ill Health Retirement cases.

Conducting OEUK Medical Examinations.

Completing Post-Medevac Return to Work Assessments.

Managing complex case reviews, absence reviews, and case conferences.

Providing occupational health advice and guidance to management and employees.

Supporting clients within the Oil & Energy sector with specialist occupational health requirements.

Essential Requirements

We're looking for a dedicated and experienced Occupational Health Physician who can demonstrate:

  • Full GMC Registration with a licence to practise.
  • DOccMed (Diploma in Occupational Medicine) as a minimum.
  • OEUK Registered Doctor status.
  • Experience delivering Occupational Health services, including management referrals and fitness for work assessments.
  • Active participation in continuing professional development, appraisal, and revalidation processes.
  • Strong report writing and communication skills.
  • Experience managing complex occupational health cases.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Good IT literacy skills.
  • Authorised to work in the UK, we don’t not offer sponsorship for this role

Additional Qualifications Welcome

Applications are encouraged from physicians holding:

AFOM, MFOM or FFOM qualifications.

Previous experience within the Oil & Energy sector.

Desirable (Not Essential)

Tier 4 HAVS Certification/Training.

HSE Appointed Doctor status for:

Asbestos Medical Surveillance

Lead Medical Surveillance

Ionising Radiation Medicals
