Occupational Health Technician

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within PAM Occupational Health Solutions for an Occupational Health Technician to join our OH Screening Team within the Private/Public sector and support some of our well-established clients.\\n\\nYou will be expected to contribute to the Occupational Health Screening division’s success, working closely with your regional colleagues, other associated clinicians and client services colleagues to ensure the delivery of Safe, Effective, and Quality Occupational Health services.\\n\\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for the support and delivery of Occupational Health Services on various contracts from construction to the food industry, providing a high-quality health screening service to our client's employees, whilst increasing the business quality through effective relationship building with employees & managers.\\n\\nTraveling is a key part of the role as the role is peripatetic and a willingness to travel UK-wide is needed to attend training and cover annual leave and sickness absence, however, PAM will always look to minimise this.\\n\\nHours/Working Week are Monday-Friday 40 hours per week.\\n\\nKey accountabilities & responsibilities:\\n\\nConduct all aspects of health surveillance and fitness for work medicals/safety critical medicals in line with client standards and requirements\\n\\nDrug and alcohol screening\\n\\nEnsure that all documentation is uploaded to OHIO in the relevant areas\\n\\nStore all data in line with Data Protection Principles\\n\\nMaintaining confidentiality at all times\\n\\nEnsuring KPI’s are met\\n\\nEnsuring consistency of service delivery\\n\\nMonitoring OHIO compliance to ensure that all information is correct and complete\\n\\nEnsuring an excellent customer experience\\n\\nKeep working practices in line with company accreditations including ISO 9001, 27001, SEQOHS, RISQS, and IIP\\n\\nEnsure all medical equipment is calibrated and safety tested\\n\\nProviding support to new team members\\n\\nEscalations are conducted appropriately\\n\\nWork in collaboration with all members of the OH Team\\n\\nSkills, Experience & Qualifications:\\n\\nSports Science Qualification or similar/Occupational Health Technician experience delivering health screening/medicals is preferable but not essential\\n\\nCompetent at managing client communication\\n\\nHighly organised and process-driven individual\\n\\nAbility to liaise with other departments and colleagues to achieve results\\n\\nResults orientated and customer-focused\\n\\nIT Literacy\\n\\nEffective communication skills.\\n\\nAbility to collate, prepare and deliver wellbeing content\\n\\nGood organisation skills, the ability to work to deadlines and prioritise.\\n\\nThe ability and commitment to desire to be part of a team that seeks to provide the highest levels in a professional services business.\\n\\nUnderstanding of Confidentiality\\n\\nGood report writing skills\\n\\nOur Values & Benefits\\n\\n * We pay your auto-enrolment pension contribution of 8%, you can also make enhanced contributions which are matched up to a further 5%\\n\\n * 33 days annual leave including bank holidays with the option to buy or sell up to 5 days (FTE)\\n\\n * Life insurance scheme valued at 4x your annual salary\\n\\n * Income protection\\n\\n * Health Cash Plan Scheme, which covers you for things like Opticians, Dental Treatment and even Physio if needed!\\n\\n * Perkbox membership with amazing discounts on things like food and drink, retail and days out, all through our rewards scheme\\n\\n * Long service rewards\\n\\n * Flexible Working Hours\\n\\n * Access to a 24/7 EAP Counselling line and a 24/7 GP line and wellness support\\n\\n * Support with training and development\\n\\n * Group Income Protection\\n\\nAt PAM we are passionate about people and delivering our Everyday Things That Matter Values and Behaviours to our customers and our colleagues.
