Role Summary
Paloma Health is seeking a highly skilled assessor to join our multidisciplinary neurodevelopmental assessment team. The role focuses on delivering autism and ADHD assessments for children and young people using our gold‑standard assessment pathway and Patient Record software system.

Responsibilities
- Conduct high‑quality child observations and administer ADOS assessments as part of a structured autism assessment.
- Participate in peer MDT diagnostic decision‑making and consult with senior clinical MDT where required.
- Carry out safeguarding risk assessments and adhere to the Safeguarding Policy.
- Maintain up‑to‑date mandatory training, continuing professional development, and professional qualification requirements.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of assessment processes, including the use of AI tools for diagnostic report writing.
Qualifications
- Registered as an NMC nurse, HCPC registered speech and language therapist, occupational therapist, arts therapist, practitioner psychologist, or Social Work England registered social worker.
- Completion of a recognised ADOS‑2 course.
- At least 1 year experience delivering child observations within an autism assessment context (ages 2‑18).
- High‑quality communication skills with parents and patients.
- Enhanced DBS with barred list check.
- Experience conducting risk assessments within an autism service.
- Evidence of safeguarding training (Level 3 or above).

Salary
£68,000 to £72,000 per year, dependent on experience and occupation.
