Time commitment: Between 3-5 days per week (0.6-1 FTE) - our preference is for this to be an Employed position, but we will also consider Self-employed arrangements

The Opportunity

We are looking for innovative clinicians who specialise in children’s ADHD assessments and who are excited to use software tools to enhance the experience for patients and prescribers. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality, multi‑disciplinary assessments within our Children’s Autism and Children’s Dual Autism and ADHD Assessment pathways.

About You

You are a registered nurse, speech and language therapist, occupational therapist, social worker, or practitioner psychologist, and skilled in ADHD assessments.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high‑quality Children’s ADHD neurodevelopmental assessments
  • Act in accordance with our Safeguarding Policy, including conducting a risk assessment where necessary
  • Keep up to date with mandatory training, CPD and professional registration requirements for your profession
  • Share ideas for continuous improvement of Paloma’s software tools to enhance assessment quality, safety and efficiency

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Professional registration: NMC‑registered Nurse, HCPC Registered Speech and Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Arts Therapist or Practitioner Psychologist, or Social Work England Registered Social Worker
  • Ideally at least 1 year of experience delivering children’s ADHD assessments (minimum 6 months considered); for Clinical Psychologists experience may be pre‑graduation within 6 months
  • Understanding of typical development, co‑occurring conditions, and cultural context in assessing children’s attention, impulsivity and hyperactivity
  • Strong communication skills with parents and children, and good time‑management and caseload abilities
  • Enhanced DBS with barred list check and Level 3+ safeguarding training
  • Experience conducting risk assessments within neurodevelopmental assessments
  • Experience in children’s autism assessments and dual assessments is a plus
