Your Career As a Principal Technical Marketing Engineer for Prisma AIRS at Palo Alto Networks, you will join a team responsible for driving AI security. You will work with cutting-edge technology, redefining the future. This role supports product managers, marketing teams, and customers by developing outbound technical communication, including product best practices, competitive reviews, demo environments, and ownership of product betas. You will perform technical analysis and support product management in identifying next-generation innovations. This is a critical customer-facing role with potential for significant impact.

The ideal candidate will influence strategy, collaborate with marketing and sales to execute go-to-market strategies, and act as a thought leader at the industry level, evangelizing products and product strategy internally and externally.

Your Impact:

  • Develop, constantly refine, and execute the technical marketing plan
  • Utilize AI to scale impact by creating innovative enablement and defining the art of the possible
  • Present Executive Briefings to C-Suite executives with deep technical expertise
  • Create, maintain, and deliver effective technical tools, whitepapers, demos, videos and technical training for sales, customers, and partners
  • Serve as a technical evangelist for Palo Alto Networks, speaking at seminars, conferences, customer briefings, and with internal groups
  • Work with engineering to identify product gaps based on competitive analysis and drive enhancements with PM
  • Be the domain authority on Palo Alto Networks products to help Domain Consultants with competitive questions
  • Identify sales challenges based on competitive situations and provide solutions
  • Document technical concepts to ensure products are well understood and utilized
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop collaterals such as battle cards, presentations, and white papers

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Marketing Engineer for network/cybersecurity or DevOps/Solution Architect roles, preferably with AI security, network, or data security products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation experience
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies, experiment with products, and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Strong customer advocacy skills and experience; able to work in challenging customer situations
  • Proactive, fast learner with strong initiative and ownership
  • Experience with automation tools and building dashboards
  • Experience writing and editing technical documentation and operational procedures
