Your Career

Palo Alto Networks is looking for a growth minded individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment to join our EMEA Centre of Digital Demand Excellence. As a Marketing Specialist for Field Marketing Operations, you will be predominantly supporting our marketing planning processes to establish and maintain outstanding user experiences for our internal and external customers. You ensure the basics are done perfectly. This includes setting up, maintaining and enabling our team on the use of our EMEA planning structure and ensuring they are set up for success. The Centre of Digital Demand Excellence is a centralised digital marketing hub. This team plays a vital role in the EMEA Marketing organisation. We support the entire Field & Channel marketing teams to run and execute on their marketing activities. In this role, you will work directly with the Head of the Centre of Digital Demand Excellence and the team to establish processes and best practices that help the wider team achieve their quarterly Demand Generation targets while demonstrating solid execution fundamentals and introducing some new ideas and innovation. As part of the Centre of Digital Demand Excellence, you will also collaborate on Cross-GTM initiatives that help the wider EMEA Marketing team to be more efficient, effective, and innovative.

Your Impact

  • Support the business in scaling demand generation: Own the relationship with our agency service providers, managing the on- and off-boarding of vendor access, as well as their training, enablement, workload, and ongoing support as their main point-of-contact (including SLAs, brand best practices and tool training).
  • Ensure the EMEA marketing team can be the best team possible by providing regular updates and Training on new processes, tools and best practices through office hours, new hire training, providing actionable planning insights, Loop page and updates to our best practices repository.
  • Run a regular satisfaction survey with our internal marketing stakeholders to understand how we can further improve our collaboration and enable our team in the right way.
  • Optimise our operations: Be the go-to-person and owner of the EMEA Marketing Planning cadence, infrastructure, guidance, and forecasting. Manage our business operations to ensure things run smoothly, including local translation requests, and retainer POs. Track and manage activity effectiveness and apply learning from industry insights and best practices to continually optimize the user experience.
  • Operate with Excellence: Maintaining a disciplined communication and reporting cadence with our Marketing & Sales stakeholders is key. Palo Alto Networks is a highly matrixed organization, where clear and concise communication is essential.

Your Experience

  • 3-5 years marketing experience in a hi-tech environment.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and last-minute changes.
  • Highly organized project and time management skills. At any given time you could be supporting multiple teams in their needs while having to maintain consistent quality of your ongoing projects.
  • Proactivity. We want to see you ask questions and come up with solutions.
  • Proficient with various technology platforms. You’ll be expected to get up to speed quickly on a number of MarTech tools & applications. Prior experience working with webinar tools (Zoom, On24), CRM (Salesforce), project management platforms (Asana) and event hosting and promoting tools (Splash, Knak, Marketo) are an advantage.
  • Attention to detail is key. You’ll be responsible for our brand - producing and publishing externally-facing content to our most important customers and prospects.
  • Experience working in a strict deadline-oriented environment, with excellent time management skills.
  • A demonstrated interest in analytical skills to drive optimization.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with senior management.
  • Willingness to take on additional tasks and roles with a "can-do" attitude.
