Job Summary
As a District Sales Manager, you will lead a high-performing commercial sales team to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence. You will be responsible for coaching, developing, and managing your team to exceed sales targets while fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans for the district to accommodate corporate goals.
- Conduct regular sales forecasting, pipeline reviews, and performance assessments for the team.
- Recruit, hire, and train new sales team members, fostering a culture of success and continuous improvement.
- Personally engage with key customers and prospects to build strong relationships and assist in closing strategic deals.
- Ensure the team maintains accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system (Salesforce) and adheres to all sales processes.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure a cohesive go-to-market strategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of technology or software sales experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a people management or sales leadership role.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets, both as an individual contributor and as a leader.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop a sales team.
- Strong business acumen and experience with sales forecasting and pipeline management.
