Impact You are responsible for driving technical leadership, fostering customer adoption, and enabling business value across Palo Alto Networks solutions. Meeting and exceeding sales quotas by building and implementing strategic, technical account plans that target cross‑platform solutions. Understanding key customer business requirements and positioning, demonstrating, and creating high‑level designs across the entire PANW portfolio. Driving customer adoption of the Palo Alto Networks Platform, building relationships that increase productivity, operational efficiency, and security efficacy. Conducting discovery to articulate key technical, operational, and commercial imperatives of prospects and customers. Collaborating closely with Professional Services, Customer Success, and Specialist teams to ensure overall customer implementation and adoption. Demonstrating strong communication skills, influencing through effective presentations and customer‑specific demos, and leading clear, impactful technical engagements and workshops. Leading successful technical validation efforts based on best practices to ensure a technical win in assigned opportunities. Driving cross‑functional collaboration and orchestrating supporting resources (Specialists, Channel Resources, Customer Support) for a unified, cohesive strategy. Promoting end‑to‑end solutions—including PANW and/or partner professional services—to accelerate business value realization. Understanding the competitive landscape and differentiating PANW’s leadership in cybersecurity. Continuously investing in technical and professional skills, and participating within the Solutions Consultant community and industry events. Identifying technical stakeholders and cultivating relationships with key personas to build and drive a security architecture transformation roadmap.
Experience 6+ years of pre‑sales or sales engineering experience. Skilled in at least one of the following: Networking, Network Security, Cybersecurity, Private/Public Cloud Security, SOC/Endpoint, or SASE. Experience delivering cybersecurity solutions that address technical challenges and influence new business initiatives. Track record of influencing and gaining buy‑in from key stakeholders, both customer‑facing and internal. Ability to create and deliver technical presentations, workshops, or validation engagements. Experience selling, designing, implementing, or managing Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, and/or SOC Transformation technologies. Partnering with Customer Support functions to ensure successful implementation and adoption of sold solutions. Experience with complex sales involving long sales processes, multiple buying centers, and multi‑product solutions. Proficient in English.
Location This role is remote; travel may be required for in‑person customer meetings. Hybrid teams collaborate across geographies to solve problems and grow together.
