Our on-site restaurant is a busy and welcoming destination for customers, offering a fresh and seasonal menu. We’re passionate about delivering excellent food and service—and we’re looking for a talented Head Chef to join our team.
About the role
As Head Chef, you\’ll take ownership of the kitchen, overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring the preparation of high-quality meals. You’ll have creative input into the menu and work to ensure efficiency, consistency, and food safety at all times.
Responsibilities will include:
- Manage all aspects of food production, ensuring quality and consistency
- Lead, train, and supervise kitchen staff
- Develop and plan seasonal menus aligned with our brand and customer base, and be able to provide costing breakdowns to management.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Maintain stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory
- Ensure the kitchen is clean, well-organised, and all equipment is maintained
- Contribute to recipe development and innovation
- Monitor and manage GP of the kitchen.
About you
- Experience in kitchen leadership
- Proven experience in supervising a team
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and kitchen operations
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience of managing and delivering excellent financial results
