Are you an experienced Bid Writer or Bid Manager looking for a senior opportunity where you can make a genuine impact, develop your skills and be part of an established, supportive bid function? The Role

As Senior Bid Writer / Manager, you will take ownership of bids from opportunity through to submission, combining strong writing skills with effective bid management and stakeholder engagement. You will be responsible for:

  • Managing end-to-end PQQs, ITTs, tenders and competitive submissions.
  • Developing clear, persuasive and commercially focused bid responses.
  • Working with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop compelling content.
  • Creating bid strategies, response plans and win themes.
  • Coordinating bid production, reviews, governance and final submissions.
  • Managing multiple deadlines and priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Challenging and improving existing content to ensure every submission is tailored to the client and opportunity.
  • Contributing to the continued development of bid processes, content and best practice.
  • Using modern bid technology and AI tools where appropriate to improve efficiency and quality.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Bid Writer, Senior Bid Writer or Bid Manager with a strong track record of producing successful tenders and competitive submissions. You'll be a confident writer with the ability to turn complex information into clear, persuasive responses, while also being comfortable managing the wider bid process. You'll ideally have:

  • Proven experience in a bid writing or bid management environment.
  • Strong tender, PQQ and ITT experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • The confidence to work with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • A commercial mindset and understanding of what makes a bid compelling.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach.
  • The ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to an established team.

APMP experience or accreditation would be advantageous, but training is available for the right candidate.
