Palmer McCarthy are working with a national provider of events security, traffic management, stewarding, and car parking services. They are now seeking a senior business development professional to lead sales nationally.

This is a rare chance to shape a national business development function, working with senior clients, iconic venues, stadiums, and major events. Seeking an experienced solution and sales individual from a similar environment or a related outsourced services sector e.g. security, facilities management, or cleaning.

Drive sales by building and converting a high-quality pipeline, managing tenders, presentations, and solution workshops from initial engagement to contract award and mobilisation. Act as a trusted advisor while ensuring operations deliver profitable, compliant, and high-quality solutions.

Key responsibilities:
  • Lead national sales and business development across events security, traffic management, stewarding, and car parking.
  • Build and convert national pipelines with a strategic emphasis on Northwest, Midlands, and Southeast business.
  • Manage tenders, multi-stakeholder sales processes, and complex contracts.
  • Support and line manage team members as the function grows.

You’ll have proven experience in business development and sales within outsourced services e.g. security, facilities management, or cleaning. Commercially aware, relationship-driven, and resilient, you thrive on complex sales cycles and high-value contracts.
