This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of developing and growing Total FM services into the Scottish market, primarily focusing on Hard FM. You will be working for an international facilities management service provider, generating new business, building lasting client relationships, and driving growth across a variety of sectors including education, manufacturing, corporate, oil & gas, and high-quality retail. A great opportunity to move from single service or soft FM into a TFM mainly hard services type of environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and convert new business opportunities across the central belt and wider Scotland market.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships at all levels, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality tenders, proposals, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to solutionise client requirements.
  • Maintain a continuous pipeline of opportunities and achieve ambitious sales targets.
  • Represent the business at industry events, networking, and professional associations to raise the company’s profile.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven business development or sales experience, ideally within facilities management, Hard FM, or related sectors.
  • Hunter mentality – proactive in generating business from scratch.
  • Experience managing long sales cycles and complex deals independently.
  • Strong networking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of the Scottish market and existing client networks is highly desirable.
