The Role
As Account Manager (Contract Manager), you will take ownership of several key client accounts across Scotland. You will be responsible for maintaining high service standards, deepening client relationships, and identifying opportunities to enhance and expand the services provided. This is a field-based, client-facing role involving regular site visits, close communication with site managers, and coordination with internal teams. You will be joining a busy and committed team and will play a vital part in supporting client satisfaction and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management
- Manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of established clients across Scotland.
- Conduct regular site visits and service reviews to ensure client satisfaction.
- Liaise directly with site managers and operational contacts to resolve issues and maintain service levels.
- Ensure that temporary security technology (RDCs, Security Eyes) and guarding solutions are delivered and maintained effectively.
- Work closely with internal operations, engineering, and HR teams to support deployments and staffing requirements.
- Assist with recruitment coordination for site security officers when necessary.
- Identify opportunities to expand service offerings or enhance current service provisions.
- Provide basic technical guidance on security products, escalating detailed queries to technical teams as required.
- Support ongoing development of major accounts including Celtbrae (now partly Oreos), Story Contracting, SPL Power Lines, and OCO Group.
- Maintain accurate account information and site notes.
- Provide regular updates to senior management regarding service performance, risks, and opportunities.
About You
Essential:
- Experience in Account Management or Contract Management, ideally within security services or a related operational field.
- Strong background in client relationship management and on-site service delivery.
- Confident conducting site visits and engaging with clients at all levels.
- Ability to identify upsell opportunities and proactively support client needs.
- Comfortable discussing basic technical security solutions (training provided).
- Personable, reliable, and proactive, with a focus on service excellence.
Desirable:
- Experience within security services, including temporary tech or manned guarding.
- Background in construction, infrastructure, utilities, or similar sectors.
- Understanding of operational processes within guarding contracts.
Location & Working Pattern
- Based in Scotland, covering multiple client sites across the region.
- Field-based role with significant travel to client locations.
- Occasional office visits may be required.
