Join a brand-leading UK security services business with hybrid working (4 days home-based, 1 day in a London office), an established bid team, and a supportive Head of Bids. You will have full end-to-end responsibility for your own projects, controlling the bid lifecycle from opportunity identification to submission and award.
The business is quality-led, not volume-driven, and offers funded APMP training plus career opportunities within a growing UK and international group. As Bid Manager, you will manage multiple bids, tenders and proposals, working closely with sales, operations, finance, and leadership to deliver compelling, compliant submissions.
This role may also suit an experienced bid writer ready to step up into full Bid Manager responsibilities. You will lead bid kick-offs, coordinate inputs, write and refine high-quality responses, and ensure all bids, tenders and proposals are visually polished and on-brand.
You will manage reviews, approvals, final submissions, and post-bid feedback to drive continuous improvement. This position suits a seasoned Bid Manager or a strong bid writer looking to progress, with excellent writing skills, organisation, and confidence managing multiple deadlines.
Experience with tools like PowerPoint, InDesign, or Canva is valuable. Knowledge of security, facilities management, or other outsourced services is advantageous, as is exposure to regulated tenders and framework proposals.
If you are a Bid Manager or a bid writer ready for the next step looking for flexibility, ownership, and the chance to deliver high-quality bids, tenders and proposals in a market-leading business, this role offers progression and real impact.
