As the business continues to grow, they are seeking an organised, proactive and detail-focused Bid Coordinator to join their high-performing Business Development team.
Reporting to the Head of Bids , you'll play a pivotal role in coordinating the production of high-quality bids and tenders that help secure significant new business opportunities.
This is a fast-paced, collaborative role where organisation, communication and attention to detail are essential.
You'll work closely with Sales, Operations, HR, Finance, Compliance and Marketing teams to ensure every submission is accurate, professionally presented and delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities Bid Coordinator As Bid Coordinator, you will support the successful delivery of the entire bid process by:
- Coordinating multiple live bids, tenders and PQQs simultaneously.
- Managing bid plans, timelines and submission schedules.
- Organising kick-off meetings and tracking actions to ensure deadlines are achieved.
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to gather technical, operational and commercial information.
- Preparing, formatting and proofreading bid documents to the highest standard.
- Ensuring all tender submissions are fully compliant with client requirements.
- Uploading and submitting documentation via online tender portals.
- Maintaining and developing the bid library, case studies and supporting documentation.
- Supporting Bid Managers with presentations, interview preparation and client submissions.
- Recording bid activity, maintaining accurate documentation and producing management reports.
- Continuously reviewing processes to improve bid quality and efficiency.
About You Bid Coordinator You'll be an organised and motivated individual who enjoys working to tight deadlines and takes pride in producing work of the highest quality.
You will thrive in a collaborative environment and be comfortable managing multiple priorities without compromising accuracy.
Essential Experience & Skills
- Previous experience in a Bid Coordinator, Bid Administrator or Bid Support role.
- Experience within the security, facilities management, outsourcing or business services sectors would be advantageous.
- Excellent organisational and project coordination skills.
- Outstanding written communication and proofreading ability.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Experience using online tender portals.
- Ability to prioritise multiple deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
