Are you an experienced Bid Manager with a passion for winning business and delivering exceptional proposals? Our client, a market-leading corporate security organisation, is looking for a talented Bid Manager to join its fast-paced Business Development team. Reporting to the Head of Bids you'll take ownership of high-value bids, helping secure major contracts with some of the UK's most prestigious organisations. The Role - Bid Manager

  • You'll manage the entire bid lifecycle, from opportunity qualification through to submission, ensuring every proposal is compelling, compliant and commercially competitive.
  • Working closely with Sales, Operations, Finance, HR and Subject Matter Experts, you'll create winning tender responses that showcase innovation, operational excellence and customer value.

Key Responsibilities - Bid Manager

  • Manage the end-to-end bid process for PQQs, ITTs, RFPs and framework submissions.
  • Coordinate bid planning meetings and manage submission programmes.
  • Write, edit and produce high-quality, persuasive bid responses.
  • Collaborate with Business Development, Operations, HR, Finance and Compliance teams.
  • Ensure all submissions are compliant, accurate and submitted on time.
  • Develop and maintain the bid library, case studies and supporting documentation.
  • Analyse bid feedback to continually improve future submissions.
  • Support presentations, client interviews and clarification meetings where required.
  • Monitor tender portals and identify new opportunities with the sales team.

About You

You'll be an organised, commercially minded Bid Manager who thrives in a deadline-driven environment and enjoys managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience managing bids from qualification through to submission.
  • Excellent bid writing and editing skills.
  • Experience within the security, facilities management or outsourced services sectors.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Desirable

  • APMP qualification.
  • Experience using tender portals and bid management software.
  • Knowledge of the corporate security industry.
  • Experience supporting client presentations and interviews.
