Part time role, 24 hours over 3 days/week. Due to further expansion, Palmaris Services Ltd are recruiting an experienced handyman to provide routine service checks on fire alarm systems located in client properties across Glasgow. The successful candidate should be methodical, technically minded with good communication skills.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced handyman to provide technical services on a part time, 3 days per week (24 hours/week) basis working as part of an ambitious team to deliver a high standard of fire system, weekly/monthly service checks and reporting. Palmaris Fire & Security Services is a NSI Gold & BAFE accredited company.
Based at our Coatbridge office, our clients are located across Glasgow and Ayrshire; therefore, a van will be provided.
Essential Experience & Skills:- Proven experience of handyman skills, technical skills/abilities preferred
- Clear and concise reporting of all small works and remedial repairs identified during routine service and testing of fire systems
- Complete all necessary site attendance paperwork and ensure all correspondence/records are passed to the team administrator within our specified timescale
- Adhere to our company compliance at all times and within the current Health and Safety legislation
- A willingness to learn a base understanding of fire safety systems (essential training provided)
- Full clean UK Driving Licence
- Salary negotiable dependent on experience
