£17.50 per hour
Reporting to the Transport Manager, this role will be responsible for delivering to customer sites, ensuring high standards of customer service are met and that orders are correctly delivered first time and on time whilst legal compliance is maintained at all times.
You will work effectively as part of a team in a fast paced environment whilst ensuring that Health and Safety Procedures are strictly adhered to at all times.
As an experienced and licensed HGV Driver, with over 5 years Class 1 experience, you will demonstrate effective communications and attention to detail. You will strive to constantly meet order demands whilst improving efficiencies.
The hours for this role are flexible and usually amount to between 40 and 55 hours per week, depending on shift rotation. There will be regular nights out, often up to 4 per week depending on shift rotation. This will mean work will be required on some Saturdays and Sundays.
This job will involve a cab share with another Day Driver and will occasionally be used by our Night driving team.
