Pallinc is a leading supplier of new and reconditioned pallet solutions based at a modern, well-invested site at Rand, near Lincoln. We deliver our industry-leading solutions right across the UK to a wide range of businesses across every industrial sector. We are currently recruiting for an Account Manager who will report to the Commercial Manager, whilst working alongside our Operations, Transport and Business Development teams to collectively deliver for our wide-ranging customer base.
This role is predominantly office-based, between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm, with some work outside of these hours helping our transport team to ensure customers are kept up-to-date, and issues are resolved. There will also be a requirement to work occasional bank holidays, working on a rota with the wider team. You will be expected to ensure the highest level of accuracy, compliance, customer service and commerciality.
Key Account Manager responsibilities:- Build relationships with customers, developing strong customer focussed business
- Maximise repeat business, enhancing our offering to the Customer at all stages
- Proactive customer engagement
- Involvement with procurement and tender activities
- Ensure bookings and purchase orders are followed through and deliveries and collections are scheduled as per the customers’ requirements
- An account management background is desirable but not essential
- Experience of in-house key account management and developing the business
- Customer relationships are key – must have the ability to develop and maintain a great working relationship with the clients
- A valid and clean driving license
