The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
Our drivers are one of the most important roles within Palletforce, and as a fully qualified Class 1 Driver, you will have the important role of delivering products to our customers whilst being safe and taking care of yourself on the road.
The Role:
- Various HGV driving duties, including daily checks to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and safe to use, complying with vehicle security and standing procedures at all times.
- Manage the hand held terminals and be able to record accurate information.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and returned to the Transport Office.
- Report any delivery issues in a timely manner to the Transport Office.
- Provide a professional driving service, meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
- Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to at all times.
- You may be required to drive 3.5t vehicles during peak periods.
What we need from you:
- Qualifications: Class 1 Driving License.
- Experience: Previous experience is essential. Refrigeration and multi drop experience would be beneficial. Will have completed a CPC Training Course and have a strong geographical and logistical knowledge.
- Communication: You will have good communication skills, spoken and written.
- Influence & Persuasion: Build good working relationships with work colleagues and our customers.
- Planning & Organisation: You will be adaptable in your start and finish times and have the ability to prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines.
