Job Description We are looking for an experienced FLT / Forklift Driver to join our busy team in Crawley. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established operation where you will play a key role in keeping freight moving safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Working as part of a supportive team, you will be responsible for loading, unloading and moving palletised goods while maintaining excellent safety and accuracy standards. If you are reliable, hard-working and experienced on a counterbalance truck, we would love to hear from you. This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday, 4:00am to 1:00pm, with optional weekend overtime available. OperateLPG counterbalance forklift trucksto safely load and unload palletised freight in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment. Useforklift-mounted scanning technologyto accurately record freight movements and ensure traceability across the network. Maintain precise handling and placement of goods, following scanning and labelling procedures to support efficient hub operations. Report directly to the Team Leader, working collaboratively with colleagues to meet nightly performance targets. Demonstrate astrong commitment to health and safety, adhering to all site protocols and proactively identifying and reporting risks or unsafe practices. Keep work areas clean, organised, and compliant with company standards to support operational efficiency and safety. Support cross-functional tasks when required, such as assisting with freight checks, bay organisation, or liaising with admin teams to ensure smooth operational flow. A valid FLT / Forklift licence (RTITB or equivalent). Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift truck within a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment. Good literacy and numeracy skills to support scanning, paperwork and freight handling tasks. A reliable and hard-working attitude, with a strong focus on safety and quality. A positive, team-focused approach and the ability to work well in a busy warehouse environment. A professional approach and confidence working in an environment that may include outdoor duties .
