Location: Oxford, MI

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain detailed layouts of simple to moderately complex processes for machined components.
  • Create process models and drawings using CAD system for production and inspection.
  • Determine inspection requirements for each process step with Quality.
  • Design holding fixtures for manufacturing.
  • Conduct job review and implement changes on future iterations of the project.
  • Create job routings and release completed engineering packages to Quality.
  • Coordinate the manufacturing launch of products.
  • Maintain manufacturing capabilities per work center to facilitate production processes.
  • Review product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods and quality results.
  • Design, develop, test, and/or source and cost-justify various tools, machinery and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods.
