Palladium is seeking a
Senior Associate
to join the
MOBILIST Product Platform (MPP)
, a UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development (FCDO) initiative aiming to partner with financial institutions to create listed products that attract institutional capital into developing countries and emerging markets.

The core of MPP is the Source-Select-Support (S3) process, working with stock exchanges to source investment products for the FCDO. The programme helps mobilise private finance and address the lack of suitable listed products for SDG financing in developing markets. MOBILIST supports listings through investment at IPO, technical assistance for listing costs, and development of impact assessment frameworks to monitor results. Learn more at

The Senior Associate will play a key role in executing MOBILIST activities by handling operational and financial management tasks, supporting client relationship management with FCDO, coordinating with external stakeholders, and supporting the creation of various reports and communications.

This is a programme role with the contract running through March 2027. There may be potential for extension subject to the performance and/or continuation of MOBILIST.
Location:
This is a full-time position based out of Palladium\’s London office, within our United Kingdom, Europe, and Africa (UKEA) region. Please note that applicants must have the right to work in the UK, as visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Palladium supports a hybrid working model with 3 days in office, 2 days from home.

Reporting Lines
The Senior Associate will report directly to the MOBILIST Product Platform Team Leader

Primary Roles And Responsibilities

  • Design and delivery of MOBILIST activities in line with the MOBILIST Strategy and Workplans around the S3 process
  • Contribution to the updating and monitoring of the MOBILIST Theory of Change and Results Measurement System, including the Value for Money Framework
  • Support on the timely delivery of MOBILIST quarterly milestones. Contribution to reporting and communications, including production of inter alia, quarterly progress reports, annual reports, briefing papers and relevant project deliverables
  • Contribution to operations and financial management tasks, including recruitment, contracting and management of consultants and sub-contractors, development and management of programme\’s forecasts and invoices, risks management and compliance
  • Support and manage relationships with FCDO to ensure agreement of the Programme\’s strategy, plans and resource requirements, budget, and any amendments required to the head contract, and work with the team to address client\’s requests
  • Support the wider MOBILIST governance arrangements and support in promoting the MPP as well as coordinating with external stakeholders including other FCDO programmes, donor and government agencies, investment organisations, etc.
  • Respond to requests for information or action on specific issues by the Team Lead, Programme Director and/or Project Manager

Essential Criteria

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience or in-depth knowledge of finance within emerging markets, preferably with a focus on public markets
  • Strong financial literacy, including the capacity to interpret, analyze, and present financial data and reports to support effective decision-making
  • Proven track record in successfully managing complex projects and initiatives that demand advanced organizational, financial, and leadership capabilities
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and implement complex program procedures, consistently applying meticulous attention to detail
  • Proven competence in prioritizing and managing multiple tasks efficiently within tight deadlines, ensuring high standards of quality and accuracy
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as a team member in dynamic, fast-paced environments, contributing to shared goals and organizational success
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, with a history of engaging professionally and respectfully with colleagues, clients, and consultants from a wide range of cultural backgrounds
  • Self-motivated and proactive, adept at working independently and taking initiative to drive projects forward
  • Demonstrated ability to perform effectively with minimal supervision, maintaining accountability and high performance standards
  • Advanced editing and proofreading skills, with demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) to support high-quality deliverables

Desirable Criteria

  • Prior work with or at a Development Finance Institution (DFI) highly desirable
  • Approaches investing as a catalyst for positive change, aiming to redefine traditional financial models to create a more equitable and sustainable world
  • Consistently seeks out the underlying causes of challenges and considers them within a broader strategic context, enabling holistic problem-solving
  • Demonstrates the ability to develop innovative solutions for complex problems and follows through on their effective implementation
  • Exhibits a strong willingness to learn and grow, while also contributing valuable insights and expertise that support team learning and development
