This Opportunity

Senior Associate, Group Finance – support the global finance team in delivering high‑quality financial reporting and analysis for the Palladium Group. This role will contribute to the preparation of management and statutory accounts while developing the capability to provide insight and analysis to senior stakeholders. It is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with 4–5 years’ experience who is looking to grow into a Finance Manager role within a global organization.

Location

The position is based in Palladium’s London office within our United Kingdom, Europe, and Africa (UKEA) region. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available for this role. Palladium supports a hybrid working model with 3 days in office, 2 days from home.

Reporting Lines

The Senior Associate, Group Finance reports to the Group Financial Controller. This role will also support the Group Finance and Treasury teams and will work closely with regional finance teams.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation of Group financial and statutory reporting, including monthly management accounts and year‑end processes.
  • Assist with US GAAP reporting to the Parent using the OneStream platform.
  • Consolidate regional submissions and contribute to the Group monthly reporting pack.
  • Support variance analysis and assist in preparing commentary for senior stakeholders.
  • Investigate and correct historical FX or intercompany reconciliations.
  • Prepare and post month‑end journal entries (FX, intercompany, accruals, revaluations).
  • Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of issues.
  • Assist with treasury‑related accounting (intercompany loans, interest, FX revaluation, cash movements).
  • Contribute to improving reporting processes, controls, and compliance.
  • Support external audit processes for Group and local entities.
  • Build effective working relationships across regional and corporate finance teams.

Essential Criteria

  • ACCA, Certified Public Accountant or equivalent (e.g. Chartered Accountant) qualification.
  • Approximately 4–5 years’ relevant finance experience, ideally in a multinational or complex environment.
  • Experience with month‑end close processes, general ledger accounting and journal preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, and exposure to consolidations or intercompany accounting.
  • Sound knowledge of IFRS, company law and UK GAAP / FRS 102, Tax (VAT, withholding tax, corporation tax).
  • Experience supporting audits or statutory reporting processes preferred.
  • Exposure to financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, OneStream or similar) is advantageous.
