This opportunity involves delivering high‑quality corporate and treasury accounting outcomes across Palladium's multinational group. This role provides technical treasury accounting oversight across Palladium's global entities and supports the Group Finance and Treasury teams. The position will focus on accurate and timely month‑end close, financial integrity, statutory readiness and audit‑quality documentation, with treasury accounting forming a key but not exclusive component of the role.

The position will be based in Palladium's London office. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK, as visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Palladium follows a hybrid working model, with three days in the office and two days remote.

The Treasury & Group Accountant reports to the Group Financial Controller and will work closely with regional finance and project teams.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily, weekly and month‑end bank reconciliations and prepare reconciliation packs for review.
  • Support month‑end close activities, including variance analysis and preparation of commentary for senior finance stakeholders.
  • Account for foreign currency and cross‑border transactions.
  • Prepare and post treasury‑related journal entries including bank transactions, interest, bank fees, accruals, reclassifications, withholding tax and FX revaluation entries.
  • Reconcile and substantiate key balances including intercompany and resolve reconciling items.
  • Work with the Global Finance team to meet various internal and external reporting deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS and US GAAP, including appropriate accounting judgments and documentation.
  • Maintain and improve accounting processes, controls and documentation.
  • Respond to internal and external audit queries and provide supporting schedules and explanations as required.
  • Collaborate with regional finance teams to resolve accounting queries and ensure consistent application of treasury and other accounting policies across entities.
Essential Criteria:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related discipline.
  • 5+ years' experience in treasury accounting, corporate accounting or similar within a multinational environment.
  • Experience in working with cash pooling and notional pooling structures.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP and practical experience with FX and intercompany accounting.
  • Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite).
  • Demonstrated experience and comfortability using Excel.

Desired Criteria:
  • Qualified or part‑qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) preferred.
  • OneStream experience highly desirable.
  • Experience with Treasury management system or reconciliation tools desirable.
