This Opportunity: The Sustainable Infrastructure team, part of the broader Economic Growth & Natural Capital (EGNC) Portfolio based in our Americas region, partners with mining companies to design and implement positive impact programs—such as workforce skilling, reforestation, and sustainable agriculture—that benefit mining communities and regions. The team works across the entire mining life cycle, helping clients achieve ESG targets while building the foundation for community resilience beyond mine closure.
Palladium is seeking a Senior Manager, Sustainable Infrastructure - Oil & Gas to bring team management experience and technical acumen to both business development and project delivery. The role will focus on oil and gas sector clients across the value chain, including upstream, midstream and downstream operations, as well as associated infrastructure such as pipelines, LNG terminals, shipping and logistics, storage, and refining assets.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality, client-focused results across complex assignments. Oversee proposal development, budgeting, project planning, implementation, and reporting to ensure timely and effective delivery.
- Business Development: Contribute to the identification, assessment, and pursuit of new business opportunities with a focus on expanding Palladium’s engagement with oil and gas companies and operators of associated infrastructure.
- Technical Work: Work with the team to develop short-term inputs and/or consultancy assignments on topics such as economic development, local content, workforce development, ESG strategy and inclusive business models in oil and gas and related infrastructure contexts.
Essential Criteria:
- 7+ years of senior-level experience in a client-facing management role on large, private/public sector projects, especially relating to oil and gas and/or associated infrastructure.
- 5+ years working directly with oil and gas companies, operators or infrastructure developers as clients.
- Fluency in English and at least another language, in either French (preferred), Spanish, Arabic, or Portuguese.
Desirable Criteria:
- Masters in Economics, Social Sciences, Business Administration, International Development, Political Science, or related fields.
- Experience engaging multisector stakeholders in oil & gas and related infrastructure communities and regions.
