This role is for a world-leading aerospace filtration company and involves new product introduction while maintaining standards for existing lines.
The role of the Assembly Operator is to assemble and test Last Chance Filter elements using engineering drawings and job packets. You will follow company safety guidelines, ensure the quality of your own work, and meet productivity targets. Local training is provided. Pall Redruth offers a competitive rate of pay with overtime and shift premiums. The role also provides opportunities for growth within the company.
Location: Redruth plant, Redruth, England, United Kingdom.
Responsibilities
- Operate equipment in a continuous production/processing operation while monitoring meters, gauges and other tools to ensure adherence to production/process specifications
- Follow engineering drawings, SOPs and similar procedures
- Troubleshoot and assemble mechanical units, fabricated parts/components and/or electrical/electronic systems to make sub-assemblies and assemblies using miscellaneous tools
Essential Requirements
- High levels of dexterity, coupled with excellent practical skills
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and maintain focus for periods of time on the task
- Ability to operate equipment in a continuous production/processing operation
Nice to Have
- Manufacturing processes experience, preferably in a production environment
- Experience undertaking rotating shift work patterns
