Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Logistics Surrey, Dunsfold Park, Cranleigh GU6 8TB
Shift: Monday to Friday variable
Starting Salary: £34,680 per annum
Starting Hourly Rate: £13.34 per hour

About the role:
You will drive a lorry from our fleet of vehicles. We don\’t micromanage our drivers. We trust them to get the job done and they have a say in running their own routes. So, if you enjoy independence being out on the open road for long stretches but also want to be home again at the end of every shift, this is the job for you.
You\’ll make sure pallets get to and from customers bang on time. Scanning consignments and driving pallet trucks will sometimes be part of your day.
You \’ll be responsible for health and safety, for example inspecting your vehicle and trailer every day and completing a Defect Report if necessary.
You will make sure everything is \’right first time\’ for your customers, both internal and external, and as a great communicator, you\’ll work hard to keep customers happy, making sure any queries you can\’t answer, are passed on to your manager quickly.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Class 2 driving licence
- Driver CPC qualification card
- Excellent knowledge of Road Transport Laws and commitment to safe use of the roads
- A \’can do\’ attitude
- Customer facing skills
