Job Description Overview:
The Compliance function for the Pall operating company within Danaher\’s Life Sciences Platform is responsible for developing, fostering, and sustaining a sound Integrity and Compliance culture. It leads, embeds, and strengthens the Compliance Program, which is designed to ensure adherence to anti-corruption laws, regulations, and industry best practices, promoting ethical behavior and preventing misconduct. The Senior Compliance Manager EMEA will serve as the primary compliance advisor for Pall in the EMEA region.
Responsibilities:
- Review and advise on business activities and strategies; support the implementation of Compliance systems, processes, and controls.
- Update and implement Compliance policies and procedures; design and conduct ongoing Compliance training for associates.
- Conduct compliance risk assessments; develop risk management strategies; implement controls to mitigate risks, including third-party/distributor risk management.
- Perform regular compliance audits and monitoring; assess the effectiveness of compliance systems and controls; implement remedial actions as needed.
- Promote Danaher\’s Code of Conduct, core values, and Speak Up program; conduct investigations and oversee corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the Life Sciences Platform Privacy Lead and the Global Compliance Director to support privacy program implementation and maintenance; provide guidance on privacy matters, facilitate DSAR processes, and conduct privacy impact assessments.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of Compliance experience in relevant risk areas within the life sciences, healthcare, or similarly regulated industries.
- B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent.
- Business-minded, proactive, solutions-oriented professional able to explain complex compliance issues and consider business concerns in strategy development.
- Strong communication skills, fluency in English, and preferably additional languages spoken in the EMEA region.
- Willingness to travel approximately 10% and visit sites across the region regularly.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Over 7 years of compliance experience in relevant risk areas within regulated industries.
- Certifications such as CCEP-I or similar, and CIPP/E are preferred.
- Experience with data privacy compliance programs is advantageous.
