The Manufacturing Engineer is a critical role in maintaining the smooth running of processes needed to supply customers. This is an exciting role that interacts with many other functions within the organization. The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for supporting specific areas, being an active member of the wider ME team, taking part in Kainzan events, troubleshooting equipment, and liaising with maintenance and other teams to find solutions to day‑to‑day challenges. The Manufacturing Engineer is expected to solve daily tactical problems and work on strategic activities for continuous improvements. This position is part of the Pall Aerospace, BU in Redruth, Cornwall.
In This Role:

Essential Requirements:
- Beng HNC, HND in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering.
- Advanced user of CAD, office, experience in Automotive, Aerospace or relevant Engineering industry.
- Experience in hydraulics and assembly.
- Ability to evaluate manufacturing processes utilizing lean tools and practices.
- People leadership experience.
- Ability to assess machine requirements & liaise with equipment suppliers, FAT, IQ, OP & PQ, PFMEA.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with SAP data entry, routing maintenance.
- Lean six sigma trained.
- Exposure, understanding and implementation of modern manufacturing assembly systems, MES, industry .4.0, instrumentation and control.
