As an apprentice you will develop hand skills and enhance your knowledge of engineering practices, keeping a portfolio of evidence required to achieve the relevant qualifications for the pathway you are taking. This position is part of the apprentice department and will be located in the manufacturing facility in Redruth, with day‑shift work required during the apprenticeship.
In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To:
- Develop hand skills on a variety of machines
- Follow engineering drawings, SOPs, and similar procedures.
The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include:
- GCSE in Maths and Science at Grade 5 & English, Grade 4 (or equivalent) or above as minimum.
- Competent IT skills, with experience in MS Office and other packages.
It Would Be a Plus If You Also Possess:
- Previous Experience In Engineering or other hands‑on production experience
- High levels of dexterity, coupled with excellent practical skills
- Independent learning and the ability to respond to change in demand.
