Paling Joiners are looking to recruit an Estimator/Contracts Assistant. Working on high-end domestic and commercial projects producing accurate quotes and materials costing. The role would suit a candidate from a joinery background who is looking for a new challenge.
As the Joinery Estimator/Contracts Assistant, you will:
- Provide competitive and accurate estimates for bespoke joinery supply and installation packages
- Work between the project managers and the joinery workshop to ensure the smooth running and communication of requirements
- Order materials and ensure availability of materials to meet project deadlines
- Liaise with customers and clients ensuring a professional conduct
- Assist with the provision of information for tender submissions
- Have a good background in bespoke joinery / maintenance / construction or similar
- Be able to confidently read drawings, estimate materials and calculate labour costs
- Have excellent attention to detail and be a great problem solver
- Have confident IT skills, using MS Excel, Outlook and AutoCAD
- Be numerate and commercially minded
Immediate Start Available for the right candidate. Salary DOE. Job Type: Full-time. Education: Certificate of Higher Education (preferred). Experience: surveying: 1 year (preferred). Work Location: In person.
