Palfinger UK is expanding its flagship Dartford operation and now hiring two new team members to join one of the world’s leading lifting technology manufacturers. As a Service Engineer, you’ll work with premium crane systems inside a modern 13,000 sq ft facility fitted with advanced diagnostics, specialist tooling and eight fully equipped workshop bays. Your responsibilities as Service Engineer:

  • Carry out planned maintenance and repairs on Palfinger and Epsilon crane systems
  • Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and software faults
  • Complete LOLER inspections and required safety checks
  • Use manufacturer diagnostic systems to identify and resolve issues efficiently
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and compliance
  • Contribute to a professional, safety-focused workshop environment

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience as a Service Technician working on hydraulic or lifting equipment
  • Background within cranes, forklifts, plant, powered access, HGVs or agricultural machinery
  • Recognised qualification such as NVQ or City & Guilds in a relevant discipline
  • Strong fault-finding ability across mechanical and hydraulic systems
  • Professional attitude with a strong focus on quality and safety
  • Ability to work full-time on-site in Dartford, Monday to Friday
