The Service Sales Manager Cruise is responsible for driving PALFINGER MARINE’s commercial activities within the European cruise segment. This role serves as the key interface between customers, service offices, and sales teams, ensuring strong business development and customer satisfaction. The position plays a vital role in expanding market presence, aligning business strategies, and achieving growth targets in the cruise sector.
Your responsibilities:
- Explore and expand the Cruise sales area by identifying and capitalizing on new commercial opportunities and developments that strengthen PALFINGER MARINE’s market position.
- Act as the general contact and point of escalation for Cruise customers and Sales Managers, ensuring effective communication, problem-solving, and relationship management across all service and sales offices.
- Participate actively in business strategy meetings to set segment-specific targets, budgets, and revenue expectations, directly contributing to the cruise segment’s success and long-term strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with Service and Sales offices to resolve customer issues, analyze root causes, and implement corrective measures to maintain operational excellence and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide expert advisory support to understand and serve market needs for lifesaving equipment and cranes, ensuring customer satisfaction and alignment with PALFINGER MARINE’s high-quality standards.
Minimum qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the Cruise segment and 3–5 years in Marine industry sales, demonstrating a strong understanding of market dynamics and customer requirements.
- Proven track record in customer relationship management, including negotiation, communication, and networking skills essential for maintaining and growing client partnerships.
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities to coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure alignment between sales, service, and strategy units.
- Self-motivated, business-minded, and results-driven professional capable of proactively seeking opportunities and contributing to PALFINGER MARINE’s growth goals.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written, with the ability to communicate effectively across international and multicultural environments.
