The Bryntirion Inn is a welcoming country inn located in the village of Llandderfel near Bala, known for its warm hospitality, traditional atmosphere, and quality food. We pride ourselves on providing excellent service and creating a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience for our guests.

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and professional Waiter / Waitress to join our front-of-house team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, ensuring guests have an enjoyable dining experience, and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the restaurant.

  • Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables when required.
  • Present menus and provide detailed information about food and drink offerings.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar.
  • Serve food and drinks efficiently and courteously.
  • Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any requests.
  • Prepare tables by setting up linens, cutlery, and glassware.
  • Clear tables and reset them for the next guests.
  • Process payments accurately using the point-of-sale system.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the dining area.
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards.
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A friendly and professional manner with customers.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
