We are currently seeking a maintenance assistant to join our Estates Team to help uphold the high standards of our property. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of repair tasks to ensure our hotel remains safe, functional, and visually appealing. Your work will directly support our guest experience and contribute to the long-term upkeep of the property.
- Assist in the inspection, repair, and maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
- Support daily maintenance operations, including general building repairs, painting, carpentry, and minor installations.
- Conduct routine checks on equipment and report any faults or safety hazards to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules.
- Help maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition.
- Assist with groundskeeping duties as needed, including minor landscaping and outdoor upkeep.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from other departments or guests (where applicable).
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
