We are looking for an experienced, organised and motivated Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team and ensure consistently high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout Palé Hall. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in maintaining excellent standards, enjoys supporting and developing a team, and can organise a busy housekeeping operation effectively.

As Head Housekeeper, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the housekeeping department. Your duties will include:
- Leading, supervising and motivating the housekeeping team
- Planning daily workloads, rotas and staff allocation
- Ensuring all rooms and communal areas are cleaned and presented to a consistently high standard
- Carrying out regular quality and cleanliness inspections
- Training, supporting and developing members of the housekeeping team
- Monitoring stock levels and ordering cleaning products, linen and other supplies as required
- Ensuring equipment is maintained and used safely
- Working closely with other departments to ensure an efficient and professional service
- Ensuring health and safety, COSHH and infection-control procedures are followed
- Responding promptly and professionally to any housekeeping issues
- Supporting recruitment, induction and performance management within the department

- Has previous housekeeping experience, ideally including supervisory or management responsibility
- Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in maintaining high standards
- Is confident leading, motivating and organising a team
