Palé Hall is a luxurious destination for quiet retreat, refined comfort, and exceptional culinary indulgence. Nestled in the tranquil Dee Valley, this grand Victorian mansion is surrounded by idyllic woodland gardens that sweep down to the banks of the river, with the spectacular Snowdonia National Park just moments away. The hotel offers eighteen individually styled bedrooms and suites, each adorned with sumptuous décor and beautifully appointed bathrooms, alongside four charming garden suites within the estate grounds.
Palé Hall is seeking an additional Concierge to strengthen our vibrant Front of House team. We welcome applications for both part-time and full-time positions. This role operates with weekend working required on a rota basis.
We are looking for an outgoing, flexible and personable individual who is confident in engaging with guests and delivering warm, attentive service. Strong local knowledge is highly desirable, enabling you to share recommendations on nearby attractions, scenic walks, travel routes and activities, and to enhance our guests’ overall experience.
You will become familiar with the local area and its surroundings, proactively advising guests on places to visit and tailoring suggestions to their interests. As a key member of the Front of House team, you will help create a welcoming first impression and ensure guests feel supported throughout their stay.
Previous hotel or hospitality experience is not essential. Above all, we value enthusiasm, professionalism and a positive attitude. Full training will be provided to support you in the role.
Duties will include:
- Greeting guests on arrival and departure
- Assisting with luggage
- Supporting the reception team during check-in and check-out
- Valet parking guest vehicles
- Maintaining a consistently helpful and professional presence throughout the hotel
The successful candidate will also demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to assist other departments when required. As a busy and dynamic operation, adaptability and strong team spirit are essential.
Applicants must be able to commute independently. A full driving licence is preferred to assist with valet parking.
