Palatine Talent is excited to exclusively represent a well-established and highly regarded Global Leader, currently enjoying rapid growth in its field of expertise. Reporting directly into an impressive and personable Financial Controller, this is a newly created highly visible role operating as part of the wider finance team. The successful Finance Analyst will work closely with internal and external stakeholders with an emphasis on analysing and providing the framework and reporting used to assess the company’s business practices and performance around various sustainability and ethical issues.
Using your business partnering skills and collaborating with other areas of the business, you will deliver high quality reporting and align with industry standards, supporting the company’s commitment to sustainability and net-zero goals. The Finance Analyst’s responsibilities will include:
- Tracking and reporting on key sustainability metrics, identifying key trends and challenging the business on performance and areas for improvement.
- Finance business partner with internal teams on sustainability projects (e.g. Renewable Energy and Carbon Reduction) providing financial modelling to support investment and data insights to measure, challenge and communicate progress.
- Keeping up-to-date with ESG trends and reporting requirements; recommending improvements to reporting processes and ensuring the business is prepared for future changes in regulatory requirements and reporting standards.
- Delivering training and guidance to the wider finance team as needed.
- Leading the relationship with key stakeholders around the business, acting as a key contact for the finance team in delivering ESG requirements and business support.
- Other ad hoc related projects and tasks as they arise.

Applicants will be qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA or if relevant experience QBE; with at least 3 years’ financial analysis/business partnering/reporting experience gained within a large business facing corporate environment. You will have a broad commercial acumen and the gravitas and personality to business partner with senior management, comfortable with proposing, justifying, initiating and implementing change. You will have excellent reporting and analytical skills; advanced knowledge of MS Excel and SAP experience would be advantageous.
