Finance Manager

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to join a well-established, award‑winning, Housing Association on the outskirts of Manchester (West). The role reports directly to the Director of Finance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and go‑to specialist for all matters relating to treasury, business planning and financial accounting.
  • Supporting the Director of Finance with refinancing and assessing financial needs.
  • Working closely with the Director of Finance to update and report on the organisation's Business Plan.
  • Ensuring the successful submission of regulatory returns and lender reporting.
  • Preparation of financial statements.

Qualifications

Applicants will ideally be fully qualified CIMA, ACCA, ACA or CIPFA. Non‑qualified Finance Managers with housing association experience will also be considered.

Annual salary of £54k to £64k, complemented with 27 days' holidays (increasing by 1 day per year of service), hybrid working (minimum 2 days per week in office), flexible working, good career prospects, training and development, a very good pension (employer contribution 1.5× that of employee to a maximum of 15% combined), life assurance, health cash plan, discounted gym membership, free parking, and an excellent working environment and culture.

Requirements

Applicants must have full and indefinite eligibility to work in the UK (UK citizen or having gained ILR) and should live within a sensible commute of Manchester (West).
