Exceptional, career defining opportunity for an AAT Qualified/CIMA, ACCA, ACA or CIPFA Part Qualified Professional to join a highly regarded and award-winning business based in Preston. Joining a friendly and collaborative Finance Business Partner and Management Accounting team - and reporting to a very impressive Commercial Financial Controller - your remit will be a 60:40 split between Commercial Analysis and Management Accounts Support with duties including:
- Lead for all income related aspects of Financial Planning and Analysis.
- Lead for all income related aspects of Budgeting and Forecasting.
- Providing insight and analysis into variances to support decision making.
- Working with large and complex MS Excel datasets.
- "What if" scenario modelling.
- Assisting with month end and monthly management accounts preparation.
To meet our clients' specified criteria, you will be fully qualified AAT and working towards CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or CIPFA and will ideally hold an accounting & finance (or related degree) - although this is not essential. You will be an active studier with clear commitment and evidence of working towards achieving full qualification and will have already gained experience in management accounting and/or financial analysis and reporting. You will also have the gravitas, personality and communication skills required to forge strong business relationships internally with colleagues at all levels and will have an ethos of working to achieving the highest possible standards and adding real value.
Salary £43-49k depending on experience, 10% pension, 30 days annual leave + an additional 4 days for Christmas + 8 Bank Holidays, Study Support, 36.25 hours per week, Hybrid working (minimum 3 days per week in the office), Flexible working, Training and development program and various company perks and discounts. Applicants must have full and indefinite eligibility to work in the UK (through being a UK citizen or having gained ILR) and should live within a sensible commute of Preston.
