If so, we have an outstanding opportunity to present to you. We’re proud to be partnering with a leading international Law firm who are seeking to add an ambitious HR Business Partner to their team. The ideal candidate will be CIPD-qualified with a generalist HR background but possessing a specialism in legal sector recruitment. This exciting opportunity has been created to support continued growth. You will shape recruitment strategy, drive talent acquisition, and onboarding experiences across the firm.
This key role will offer you the opportunity to impact strategically. You will lead recruitment efforts and workforce planning for a growing international law firm. This may well represent your first HR Business Partner role, and my client is happy to offer that progression opportunity. They will actively welcome your addition to their forward-thinking team, and value your input when considering opportunities to shape the function. My client embraces a collaborative culture, giving you the opportunity to work with the most Senior leaders within the business.
Key responsibilities will extend to:
- Recruitment & Selection – lead workforce planning, oversee recruitment portals (LinkedIn Recruiter, Law Society), and develop alternative hiring solutions.
- Onboarding & Induction – enhance the new hire experience to ensure seamless integration.
- Trainee Recruitment & Employer Branding – oversee trainee hiring, strengthen university partnerships, and drive social media engagement.
- SQE & Apprenticeships – develop initiatives in response to the Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE) and explore apprenticeship opportunities.
- Stakeholder & Agency Management – build strong internal and external relationships to ensure access to top legal talent.
- Process & System Development – improve recruitment systems, enhance efficiency, and elevate the candidate experience.
- HR Policies & Compliance – ensure legal compliance of recruitment policies and provide training on best practices.
- Data & Reporting – produce insightful recruitment reports for HR and leadership teams.
The successful candidate will ideally be CIPD qualified HR professional but must have a track record in legal sector recruitment. You will evidence strong commercial awareness with the ability to provide pragmatic, timely solutions as well as experience in decision-making, stakeholder engagement, and developing junior colleagues. Your qualities will include persuasion, proactivity, being results-driven, and strong relationship-building skills. You are a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can balance multiple priorities.
