We are delighted to be recruiting a Payroll Administrator for a successful, profitable and growing business with a genuinely supportive, family-friendly culture. You’ll be responsible for running weekly payroll and supporting the wider finance team, playing a key role in ensuring accuracy, compliance and a great employee experience.
Key responsibilities will include:
- End-to-end processing of weekly payroll
- Administration of starters, leavers and employee changes
- Processing tax codes, P45s, pensions and statutory payments
- Calculating overtime, allowances and absence-related pay
- Producing and distributing payslips
- Handling payroll queries confidentially and professionally
- Liaising with HMRC, pension providers and internal teams
- Reconciling payroll deductions including PAYE, NI and pensions
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a payroll administration role, strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines and be comfortable working with payroll systems and Excel. You will be organised, reliable and discreet, and be a positive team player with a proactive approach.
