Outstanding Finance Business Partner opportunity with a well-established, highly regarded, award winning, Housing Association based near Bolton. Joining a friendly and collaborative finance team, and reporting to an impressive Finance Manager, your remit will include:

  • Finance Business Partner for all rent and service charges activity.
  • Helping operations teams make informed business decisions through delivering clear, accurate and easy to understand financial insight.
  • Providing clear financial advice and support on rents and service charges to operational teams.
  • Preparing, reviewing and explaining budgets, forecasts and financial reports in a way tailored to the needs of the audience.
  • Support the setting, monitoring and reconciliation of rent and service charge income and costs.
  • Working with colleagues to improve financial processes, controls and data quality.
  • Identifying financial risks or issues early and help develop practical solutions.
  • Supporting year-end processes, audits and statutory reporting where required.

Due to the remit of this role, applicants must have a previous knowledge of housing association service charges. The successful applicant will have the autonomy to shape how the business develops to achieving full cost recovery, supported on this by other areas of the business also looking to achieve this.

An annual salary of £38-42k is complemented with benefits including 27 days holidays + Bank Holidays (growing to 32 + BHs after 5 years) and the ability to buy/sell holidays, Hybrid working (minimum 1 day in the office), 36 hr week, Flexible working, Pension, Healthcare plan, Life Cover, Development support, Lifestyle discounts and an excellent working environment/collaborative culture.

Applicants must have full and indefinite eligibility to work in the UK (through being a UK citizen or having gained ILR) and should live within a sensible commute of Bolton.
