Following continued investment in technology and innovation, they’re now looking to strengthen their finance team with the addition of a driven, resilient Credit Controller. This role will suit someone who takes real pride in owning their ledger, chasing debt proactively, and delivering results; not someone who waits for things to happen. Reporting directly to an outstanding Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:
- Proactively chasing outstanding debt via phone and email
- Building strong relationships with customers to ensure timely payments
- Identifying and resolving invoice queries quickly and effectively
- Managing and reducing aged debt
- Allocating cash and reconciling accounts
- Placing accounts on stop and making commercial decisions around risk
- Producing aged debtor reports and supporting month-end processes
- Working closely with internal teams (sales, operations, finance) to resolve issues
- Driving improvements in processes and credit control performance
The successful candidate will have proven experience within Credit Control, and strong communication skills.
