The Role The Finance Team supports Palantirians through day-to-day operations and problem solving.

As a member of the Revenue Team, you will guide your customer and deal portfolio through the quote-to-cash process, analyze and review complex revenue transactions, and continually refine our revenue recognition policies.

You will articulate revenue guidance clearly and support the legal and deal teams on contract drafting to maximise revenue.

You will provide direction on technical revenue accounting issues and explain the accounting impact to internal stakeholders across Business Development/Sales, Legal, and Finance during contract negotiations.

You will work with Sales, Finance, and Accounts Receivable to ensure portfolio health and participate in global month/quarter-end revenue close.

You are a hands-on self-starter who loves to collaborate and continuously improve processes.

The role requires strong technical, analytical, attention to detail, and communication skills.

Manage the revenue recognition process from the contract negotiation phase to financial statement disclosure.

Partner with Legal and Sales to optimise contractual structures to achieve business objectives while ensuring compliance with policies and revenue recognition rules.

Exercise judgment and document accounting conclusions in technical memos in accordance with policies and current software revenue recognition rules.

Drive revenue and cost of revenue month-end close by creating and validating accruals, preparing and reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations, ensuring policy compliance and developing standard reports.

Provide technical guidance, training, and support to the Finance, Legal, and Business Development/Sales teams.

Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure revenue recognition policies are interpreted consistently with GAAP.

Identify, champion, and implement continuous improvement initiatives related to revenue processes, including systems, reporting, and analysis.

Partner with business leadership and the Sales/Finance teams on revenue forecasting.

Qualifications Strong communications, presentation, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to summarize key accounting and operational issues to business partners and leadership.

Complex analytical problem-solving and project management skills.

Proficiency with Net Suite and/or other revenue recognition accounting systems.

CPA or ACCA/ACA (preferred but not required).

Extensive experience in applying ASC 606 to enterprise software-as-a-service. 5+ years’ experience in a large public accounting firm and/or a small to mid-sized enterprise software company.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business administration, economics, finance, accounting, or a related field. #J-18808-Ljbffr
